BEF Germany is the head office of the BEF Group. Protecting the environment is our ultimate goal. We are bundling proficiencies in various environmental and policy relevant fields. This combination of diversified skills allows us to be the missing link between society, business, authorities and other stakeholders in order to facilitate the interaction for successful environmental protection in the fields of climate change, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, chemicals management and others.
With the help of the BEF Group network, but also with support from various other partners, we jointly develop and manage projects with the main focus on implementing EU environmental legislation policies as well as creating  evaluation tools for policy performance. Our daily work also includes providing workshops, trainings and printed documents for knowledge and awareness raising on environmental conservation and management.
 
Our geographical range is the Baltic Sea region, where we are particularly linked to the Baltic States and Russia. Since many years we also work in other Central and Eastern European countries, and the Balkan countries.
